Happy Monday all!! I hope everyone had an eventful, relaxing weekend, and is ready for another great week, filled with lots of fashion inspiration and yes, travel tips! That’s right, this week I will be kicking off my first of many to come, travel posts! This weekend, I chose to be very productive, and caught up on homework, as well as planned some fun and exciting new posts that will be showing up over the next few weeks. Not to mention, I am planning my 2 month Euro-vacation, set to kick off starting in July, so I have a lot of planning and work ahead of me- and that means weekends=work-ends. Not complaining though! At least I get a whole two months of free time to travel, explore the world, and share with you all of the awesome new people I will meet, and new experiences I encounter. Leading up to my trip, I will share with you lots of great tips on how to pack, the Do’s and Dont’s when traveling alone and so on so forth.  There will also be some fun new Youtube video’s, bringing you along to see how I prepare for a long vacation out of the country.

Light + Airy in Neutrals

Now for my Outfit of the Day, I am sporting a Cute, Casual day-look in neutral’s. I got these super cute, light-weight shorts for Christmas, from dear old Mom. They are super comfy, and cute high-waisted cotton black shorts with a tiny polka dot print in a cream color. These types of pieces are great for the Summer, because they are uber light-weight, which is a necessity during the hot summer, and you can interchange many different colors, to get great use out of them over the summer. I got this cream triangle- peep crop top from TJMaxx, and wanted to keep to a neutral, simple shirt, that keeps within the light-weight theme of the outfit.

Target Slingback Shoes+ Just Fab BagThe shoes I  with this outfit are new Women’s Mossimo® Kacie Peep Toe Bootie that I got in two different colors from Target, and I am literally in Looooooveee with them!! They are so comfortable, but make any outfit look more dressed up and put together. I love this nude color because it is a classic color, that pairs nicely with many different colors. Not to mention, whenever you wear a nude heel, whether it’s short or high, this color tone tends to really help elongate the leg and make it appear that you are taller. These booties dress up the simple print short and plain crop top, but still keeps it feeling casual. They will definitely be going into my luggage, when I pack for Europe, making my shoe choosing dilemma easy.

Jewelry details+ Jus Fab purse

I am wearing my JustFab Paulina Rubio Collection– Nude purse, that has been getting so much use this Spring. For jewelry I kept it very simple, wearing a new necklace I got from my Mom for Easter, that has an inspirational quote about your dreams on it, in brushed gold, from some boutique in San Diego, California. I am layering the long chain, with my Doggeared heart silver necklace, and my usual rings.

To top off the look, keeping a light, springy-casual feel, I am wearing my light-wash jean jacket from Hollister, sleeves rolled for an extra touch of style.

This look is all about mixing neutrals, and keeping a feminine look with some cute heeled booties. I straightened my hair, and had the most magical hair-day all year (Yay to healthy hair)!! I hope you enjoyed this casual look, and look out for new posts, coming to you everyday this week. Have a beautiful week =D
